Book groups.

Hey guys,
This term the Bolgers introduced a new thing called book groups. In book groups we all read up to a place in the book we agreed to read to then at the next group gathering we discuss what happend and why. There are two levels of book groups.
1. Normal book groups.(Just discussing the book or... You'll see why in the next level that this level is different to level.) 

2. Normal book group discussion but with food!!
 On the third day we unlocked food.

I thought that book groups were a great idea to get us to think about wha is really happening in the book.

We Have also been working on our basic facts. We have done times tables up to twelve. In normal basic facts I got my first 100!!   I WAS REALLY HAPPY!! I also got a time of 4:45 . It was my first time under 5 minuets.I hope to do the same again next week! :)

At school this term we have done ALOT of art work. This is my favorite piece:

This is not a pipe

For art practice we did a drawing of a pipe. I did two drawings of a pipe and my second one was better. Why do I think that? I think that because it was a better shape, more shading and more detail. I would change the shape of my drawing of a pipe to make it look more like the original and better shading.

Basic Facts

I need to work on my Eight times tables, and my sevens. I can improve on my basic facts by focusing more. I will focus on my eights this week and I hope to get one hundred on my test. I have been getting high ninety's most of the time but I need to get quicker.

Catholic Schools Day

 Tommorow we are going to Saint Bridgids
We will be attending a liturgy,playing some games and making new friends. I can make the day go better by being nice and working with other people. I am hoping that the St Bridgids people will be nice and i am looking forward to having a fun!!  

Rep Trials

West Reps!!
last sunday we had rep trials. About 55 of us played a game of rugby for two hours. It was very tiring and I even lost my kicking tee!On tuesday the team was anounced and I was in! I was so happy and cant wait to play with the best rugby players in unde 11 in wests.
